Product overview

The Walrus Audio Canvas Power system is a brand-new modular power ecosystem designed to grow alongside your pedalboard. The Canvas Power 8 delivers clean, isolated power across eight outputs in an ultra-slim enclosure that fits even under flat pedalboards such as Pedaltrain Nano and Metro.

Each output provides 500mA, with two outputs offering switchable voltage (9V / 12V / 18V), making the Canvas Power 8 suitable for a wide range of pedals — from compact stompboxes to more demanding effects.

Modular & linkable design

Canvas Power is designed as a scalable system. Each model is available either with an external power supply or as a Link version, allowing you to expand your setup without replacing your existing power unit.

Using the 24V In and 24V Thru connections, you can link any combination of Canvas Power models — for example, expanding a Canvas Power 8 with a Canvas Power 15 (or vice versa) as your pedal collection grows.

Design & build

With its ultra-slim profile, the Canvas Power 8 fits under most pedalboards, including low-clearance boards. Included universal mounting brackets make installation easy on elevated boards such as Pedaltrain-style designs.

Low-profile barrel cables are supplied, featuring compact connectors that fit neatly into tight spaces — ideal for small pedalboards where clearance is limited.

Performance & monitoring

All outputs deliver clean, quiet and fully isolated power, minimising noise and interference in complex signal chains.

An integrated LED power meter provides clear status indication at 100%, 50%, 30% and 10%, giving instant feedback on available power. A USB-C port allows you to power accessories or charge phones and tablets directly from your pedalboard.
