Where It All Began

Noisewood began long before my first pedalboard was ever built.
I grew up in the workshop of my father, a skilled carpenter, where I learned the value of precision, patience and working with real materials.


Those early skills stayed with me, even when life took me away from woodworking for many years.

 

The craft returned when music returned — and the two passions merged into something new.

Born From a Musician's Need

When I picked up the guitar again, I quickly saw what many musicians struggled with: pedalboards that were functional, but rarely beautiful or easy to work with. 

 

Cables everywhere, long setup times, and boards that didn’t reflect the value of the gear on them.
