Studio FAQ

Questions about
the Studio pedalboard

What makes Studio different from Core?

Studio keeps the clean double-deck construction and practical flexibility of Core, but adds a more refined stained wood finish, finished with two coats of matt varnish, and a more design-focused character. It is the Noisewood pedalboard for players who want the open Noisewood format with a warmer, more refined visual finish for home, studio, rehearsal or stage use.

Who is the Studio pedalboard made for?

Studio is made for players who want a refined Noisewood pedalboard with a stained wood finish, without needing a protective lid.

  • For home and studio setups: a pedalboard that fits better into a refined music space.
  • For visual setups: ideal if you want the board to feel more personal and distinctive.
  • For players who do not need a lid: Studio focuses on finish, layout and personalisation rather than transport protection.
  • For flexible rigs: optional connection packages make your setup easier to plug in.
Which Studio pedalboard size should I choose?

You do not need to choose the technical dimensions yourself. Start with the gear you use and the way your rig is built, and the Studio configuration will guide you towards the right board width and depth.

A compact pedal setup needs less space than a larger rig with multiple pedals, a modeler, multi-FX unit or switcher. Your Studio size is therefore matched to your actual setup instead of asking you to choose between technical size codes.

Can the Studio pedalboard be built around my rig?

Yes. Studio can be configured around the type of setup you actually use, while keeping your pedalboard clean, organised and easy to connect.

  • Pedal-only setups: for traditional rigs with a clean visual layout.
  • Modeler or multi-FX setups: for modern compact systems.
  • Switcher-based setups: when your rig is built around a controller or loop switcher.
  • Volume or expression pedals: can be integrated depending on your selected layout and resulting board configuration.
What finish and hardware options are available on Studio?

Studio is available with a refined stained wood finish, finished with two coats of matt varnish. A One colour stained finish is the standard Studio finish. A Duo-colour combination is available as an option for a more distinctive pedalboard.

  • One colour stained finish: the standard Studio finish, with one stained wood colour across the board.
  • Duo-colour stained finish: available as an option, combining two selected colours for a more personal look.
  • Two coats of matt varnish: applied over the stain, on every Studio.
  • Silver hardware: standard on every Studio.
  • Black hardware: available as an option.
What patch bay options are available on Studio?

Every Studio has an integrated 230V power inlet as standard. Connections are chosen as a package and sit in the wooden side panel itself.

  • Power only: just the integrated 230V power inlet, without extra connections.
  • Essential: four TRS connections on the right side. Anything that runs over TRS, in or out: guitar in, amp out, an FX loop, amp switching, an expression pedal.
  • TRS: Essential plus one more TRS on the left, for when four is not enough.
  • XLR: Essential plus two XLR on the left, for going straight to the PA.
  • Custom: USB-C, MIDI, or a connection layout built around your rig.
  • Engraved connection labels: available as an option, engraved into the panel next to the jacks.

Guitar in, amp out and an FX loop already use all four. A connection panel can be added or swapped later, and you can do it yourself.

Can I personalise my Studio pedalboard?

Yes. Studio offers selected visual and practical personalisation options for players who want a more refined and personal Noisewood pedalboard.

  • One colour or Duo-colour finish: choose a stained finish that matches your setup or interior, finished with two coats of matt varnish.
  • Name engraving: available as an option. Add your name, band name or personal mark directly into the wood.
  • Hardware choice: silver as standard, with black available as an option.
  • Connections: choose a connection package: Power only, Essential, TRS, XLR or Custom.
  • Engraved connection labels: available as an option.
  • LED light & illuminated logo: available as one option.
  • Hidden AirTag holder: available as an option.
  • No protective lid: Studio is designed as an open pedalboard without transport lid.
Is a protective lid included with Studio?

No. Studio does not include a protective lid. It is designed as a refined open pedalboard with stained wood finish, hardware choice and selected personalisation options.

Choose Tour or Noble if you want a Noisewood pedalboard with a protective lid for transport, rehearsal, live use or storage.

Should I choose Core or Studio?

Choose Core if you want the clean, essential Noisewood pedalboard with a practical oiled Natural Birch or sprayed Stealth Black finish. Choose Studio if you want the same open double-deck concept with a more refined stained wood finish and a warmer, more design-focused character.

  • Choose Core if you want a clean, essential pedalboard in oiled Natural Birch or sprayed Stealth Black, with a simpler finish level.
  • Choose Studio if you want a refined pedalboard with a stained wood finish and two coats of matt varnish, with the same practical configuration options.
  • Choose Tour or Noble if you want a protective lid for transport or storage.
