Tour FAQ

Questions about
the Tour pedalboard

What makes Tour different from Core?

Tour keeps the clean double-deck construction and practical flexibility of Core, but adds a protective lid as standard and a more transport-focused setup. It is the Noisewood pedalboard for players who want the open Noisewood concept with added protection for rehearsal, transport and stage use.

Who is the Tour pedalboard made for?

Tour is made for players who need a clean, reliable Noisewood pedalboard with a protective lid, practical finish options and personalised lid options for transport, rehearsal and live use.

  • For rehearsal and live use: a pedalboard that is easy to move, protect and set up.
  • For practical players: ideal if you want a clean board with a lid and road-ready finish options.
  • For transport: the protective lid keeps your pedalboard safer during storage and travel, and a shoulder strap and lid foam are available as options.
  • For personal setups: lid engraving, custom artwork upload and name engraving make the board more personal.
  • For flexible rigs: optional connection packages make your setup easier to plug in.
Which Tour pedalboard size should I choose?

You do not need to choose the technical dimensions yourself. Start with the gear you use and the way your rig is built, and the Tour configuration will guide you towards the right board width and depth.

A compact pedal setup needs less space than a larger rig with multiple pedals, a modeler, multi-FX unit or switcher. Your Tour size is therefore matched to your actual setup instead of asking you to choose between technical size codes.

Can the Tour pedalboard be built around my rig?

Yes. Tour can be configured around the type of setup you actually use, while keeping your pedalboard clean, organised and ready to move.

  • Pedal-only setups: for traditional rigs with a clean visual layout.
  • Modeler or multi-FX setups: for modern compact systems.
  • Switcher-based setups: when your rig is built around a controller or loop switcher.
  • Volume or expression pedals: can be integrated depending on your selected layout and resulting board configuration.
  • Connection packages: make guitar, amp and rig connections easier to access from the outside of the board.
What finish and hardware options are available on Tour?

Tour is designed as a practical transport-ready pedalboard with clean finish options. Natural Birch, finished with oil, is the standard finish. Stealth Black is available as an option for a darker, more minimal look.

  • Natural Birch: the standard Tour finish, oiled for a clean and timeless wood look.
  • Stealth Black: an optional sprayed black finish for stage and live use.
  • Silver hardware: standard on every Tour.
  • Black hardware: available as an option.
  • Protective lid: included as standard for transport, rehearsal and live use.
What patch bay options are available on Tour?

Every Tour has an integrated 230V power inlet as standard. Connections are chosen as a package and sit in the wooden side panel itself.

  • Power only: just the integrated 230V power inlet, without extra connections.
  • Essential: four TRS connections on the right side. Anything that runs over TRS, in or out: guitar in, amp out, an FX loop, amp switching, an expression pedal.
  • TRS: Essential plus one more TRS on the left, for when four is not enough.
  • XLR: Essential plus two XLR on the left, for going straight to the PA.
  • Custom: USB-C, MIDI, or a connection layout built around your rig.
  • Engraved connection labels: available as an option, engraved into the panel next to the jacks.

Guitar in, amp out and an FX loop already use all four. A connection panel can be added or swapped later, and you can do it yourself.

Can I personalise my Tour pedalboard?

Yes. Tour offers practical personalisation options for players who want a transport-ready pedalboard with a personal finish.

  • Lid engraving: choose a predefined Noisewood design or upload your own artwork for the protective lid.
  • Name engraving: add your name, band name or personal mark directly into the wood.
  • Hardware choice: silver as standard, with black available as an option.
  • Connections: choose a connection package: Power only, Essential, TRS, XLR or Custom.
  • Engraved connection labels: available as an option.
  • LED light & illuminated logo: available as one option.
  • Shoulder strap: available as an option for carrying the closed board.
  • Lid foam: available as an option, egg-crate foam inside the lid to protect your pedals when the board is closed.
  • Hidden AirTag holder: available as an option for extra peace of mind during transport.
Is a protective lid included with Tour?

Yes. Tour includes a protective lid as standard. It protects your pedalboard during transport and storage, while keeping your setup clean and integrated.

This makes Tour the right Noisewood line if you want a practical pedalboard with a lid, road-ready finish options and personal lid engraving possibilities.

Should I choose Tour or Noble?
